A bitter sip
It is dark. At least, it seems to be totally dark. If you orientate it a bit, you may see some light through it. I am now putting my table candle behind it. Yes, you can see a tender light if you consider the perspective. As I sip it slowly, I enjoy that is not sweet −I do not like sweet flavors, in fact, I hate sweet flavors. It is bitter, but not that bitter that you can’t taste it anymore. I can feel the malted barley, the preserving hop and the strong coffee flavor. I remembered the orgy. I remembered the closed container almost exploding and the foam expulsed through the valve as result of the sugary liquid and the yeast’s anaerobic respiration. The espresso coffee stout may be part of your memories, memories placed in perspective through a candle light and a bitter flavor.
